NC's largest snow sports area with 20 runs on the mountain's 125 skiable acres from beginner to expert including 6 lifts and snow tubing park. The resort has 100% snowmaking capabilities and a 1,200 ft. difference from summit to the lodge.

The resort also has ski and snowboard schools for all ages and abilities, equipment rental shops, an outdoor ice skating rink, snow tubing lanes, two cafeterias, the Last Run Lounge restaurant, Sugar Mountain Sports Shop, winter value packages and more.

Summer activities include NORBA National Mountain Bike Series event, scenic lift rides, hiking, biking, and Oktoberfest.
