Boards of Directors
WATAUGA COUNTY TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
The Watauga County TDA shall consist of seven (7) members appointed to three (3) year terms by the Watauga County Board of Commissioners:
- Three individuals who are owners or operators of taxable tourist accommodations in Watauga County District U.
- At least 50% of the Authority must be owners or operators of businesses that promote travel & tourism and/or attract visitors to the Boone area.

BOONE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
The Boone Tourism Development Authority (TDA) consists of (9) members appointed to (3) year terms by the Boone Town Council:

Three individuals who are owners or operators of taxable tourist accommodations in Boone and live within 50 miles of town limits.

One individual who owns or operates a restaurant in Boone.

Two individuals who are owners or operators of businesses that promote travel & tourism and/or attract visitors to the Boone area.

Two Boone residents.
-
One Town Council member, which may include the Mayor.
