It’s a hidden gem!
Beech Mountains Parks and Recreation is synonymous with famous Buckeye Recreation center. The center consists of a 22,500-square-foot facility offering both indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities. You can put those muscles to work in our fitness center and weight room. Meanwhile, the littles can enjoy the outdoor themed playground, or our indoor playroom built specifically for children under 12. Perhaps you prefer to take center court and shoot some hoops in our indoor basketball courts. Maybe you prefer to indulge your U.S. Open fantasies by sauntering over to our pickleball courts and challenging the family to “friendly” match… winner take all! Our pickleball courts are open year-round! There is something for everyone at Buckeye Recreation Center!
Classes and Groups and Workshops… Say Whaaat!
Buckeye Recreation Center takes pride in its variety in its several recreational opportunities! Guided hikes during the day and night, bird watching groups, day trips on the lake scratch the surface on programming.
