The Boone Greenway Skatepark is a town-owned park alongside the Boone Greenway trails. The first phase of the skatepark opened in November of 2021. Visiting skaters will find a concrete skate pad with half-pipe ramps, a rail and boxes to grind, and other fun features. Nearby, the paved greenway trails follow along the South Fork of the New River.
The Skatepark is open from Dawn until Dusk.
From the Boone Greenway's Casey Lane parking area, the skatepark is not visible, but up a hill on the opposite side of Casey Lane. After parking, cross the street and walk up a gravel road (on the left side of Casey Lane if driving towards the treatment plant). The skatepark will be on the right.
