Blowing Rock Ale House
Blowing Rock Brews   

Blowing Rock Brewing and Ale House is located in historic downtown Blowing Rock, and offers cuisine that captures the same mountain artisan feel as our beer with which it pairs.  

Blowing Rock Market was named "The Nicest Gas Station in America" by Southern Living Magazine. Housed in a 1940's gas station building, the Market offers gourmet treats, Boar's Head deli, beers, cheese, chocolates, groceries, maps and travel books. 
 
     
Boone Brews   
Appalachian Mountain Brewery and tasting room is located at 163 Boone Creek Drive, bordering Boone Creek and Hodges Creek near the Boone Mall. The tasting room features plenty of outdoor seating, a 120-foot-long outdoor bar bordering Boone Creek and a covered, heated porch perfect for enjoying one of AMB's beers or ciders. 
Appalachian Mountain Brewery
 
Beech Mountain Brewing Co. is located in the alpine village at the base of Beech Mountain Resort, where you will also enjoy shops and restaurants. In winter, slalom and ride down the slopes of the highest ski area in the east; in summer, mountain bike the many trails of the Emerald Outback Adventure Trail System. The brewery is closed in April each year. 
 
Benchmark Provisions is a downtown purveyor of necessities and the delectable. Benchmark offers the conveniences of life including food, supplies, personal items, beer, wine, prepared food, and more. 
 
 
Booneshine Brewing Co. brews high quality beer and is equally focused on connecting with the people and tapping into the community that #makeBooneshine. The tasting room is located next door to the brewing facility, in a local favorite restaurant, Basil's Pasta & Deli.

where West Jefferson brews are served up at Boondocks Brewing Co. at two locations: Boondocks Taproom & Restaurant and Boondocks Brew Haus.

...or, south into Avery County

where the brews are found in Banner Elk at Flat Top Brewing Co., and in Plumtree at Blind Squirrel Brewery. Beech Mountain brews are served up at Beech Mountain Brewing Co. (closed in April for a respite between ski season and mountain biking season) and at Mile High Tavern.

Beer Tasting - 5-7 p.m., every Tuesday - Visit: Peabody's Beer & Wine 

Peabody's will be pouring about 4 beers at the bar. It's fun, it's free, it's delicious, and a great way to try some great brews you may not have had before. Stop in on Tuesdays, year-found, for a free beer tasting.

Beer 101: Great NC Beers - 6 p.m., April 24, 2018 - Visit: Lost Province Brewing Co. 

Taste your way through the science and craft of beer. One evening each month, learn about a specific style of beer and its regional history, technique and ingredients. Registration is $30 and includes samples of 8 different beers, select food pairings, and a complimentary and stylistic logoed beer glass. 

NC Artisan Market & NC-centric Dishes with Farm-to-Flame Food Truck - 12-5 p.m., April 21, 2018 - Visit: Appalachian Mountain Brewery and Cidery 

The backyard of the brewery will turn into a pop-up market featuring local North Carolina artisans. Celebrate craft beer - and the craftspeople - of the Boone area. Farm to Flame food truck will dish up some NC-centric plates with locally farm-sourced ingredients and suggested beer pairings.
