Water Activities

The Boone area offers a variety of water activities for all adventure levels from "easy going" to "challenging."

Ready to "Step Outside Yourself" and enjoy a little water adventure?  Boone offers everything from canoeing and kayaking to whitewater rafting.  Perhaps you just want to cool off and enjoy a leisurely float down (or up) the river...we have that too!  River tubing is a very popular summer activity on the New River, which flows North, and is one of the oldest rivers in existence.  Check out these listings for popular water spots and area outfitters that can take care of all your water adventure needs.
