PLACES TO GO FOR MINI-ADVENTURES IN THE BOONE AREA

The Boone area while being a recreational hotspot for both seasoned outdoor enthusiasts and beginner adventurers alike, is also full of locations where anyone can relax and have a low-key mini-adventure.

STATE PARKS

In the Boone area, State Parks such as Grandfather Mountain and Elk Knob offer visitors the opportunity to engage in short and long hikes, camping, and views that can easily be reached through many newly constructed trails, providing any visitor the chance to hike in as fast as you hike out!

PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS

At Boone Jaycees Park, and Junaluska Park, and the Tot Lot visitors have convenience paired with outdoor amenities such as grills, picnic tables, and playground equipment, making the Boone Area parks perfect places to spend a day in the sun.
