Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show will return to rooms where it all began this spring with the O.C.M.S. Big Iron World Tour: Back to the Roots—a series of intimate shows celebrating the band’s earliest recordings and some of the places where those songs first took shape.

On this tour, the band will perform their first two label releases—O.C.M.S. and Big Iron World—in their entirety. The setlists will trace the foundation of Old Crow’s catalog, played in smaller venues where the band first stopped in the early days, many of which they haven’t returned to in years.

The Appalachian Theatre of the High Country is an historic landmark and a hub for the performing arts in Boone. Built in 1938, the theatre operated for almost 70 years until it closed its doors in 2007. Major and minor Hollywood movies were shown there, as well as traveling performance acts and music groups throughout the decades. The Appalachian Theatre was completely renovated inside and out, designed to closely reproduce the original 1938 exterior appearance, before its Grand Re-opening in late 2019.
