Explore Grandfather Mountain after hours with your own personal guides. You’ll discover some of the park’s nighttime wonders, while stopping at its most significant sites. Watch a stunning Grandfather sunset, and experience the mountain as never before!
New in 2024, we offer two versions of Grandfather by Night – an adventurous version and a less adventurous version. These less adventurous events include an outdoor interpretive program about flora, fauna, folklore, and more. The event is completely wheelchair accessible, including transportation within the park.
Limited to 26 participants - registration opens 1 month in advance.
Please note: The August 30 event will begin at 7:30 pm and the September 13 event will begin at 7 pm.
