Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku or forest therapy, means taking in the forest atmosphere with your senses for holistic well-being. This 2 to 2 ½ -hour experience allows you to slow your pace, open your senses to the present moment, and breathe in the health-boosting compounds given off by trees and plants. Forest bathing is a mindfulness practice that has been shown to lower stress and blood pressure; improve mood, cognition, and creativity; and enhance immunity.

Limited to 6 people. Led by Linda Coutant, Ed.D, a certified forest therapy guide and mindfulness instructor.

The specific Blue Ridge Parkway trail will be shared upon registration. Call or email to register. Learn more at the website linked above.
