Hike with Ranger Sicard and learn how to identify deciduous trees based on the specific colors and chemistry behind that change. During this hike participants will learn what causes the leaves to turn the colors they do, which trees will usually are the first to turn, and several other interesting facts about the process these leaves go through when changing colors. This program will be approximately 2 hours long. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather and include any water or snacks you will need during the hike.
All ages welcome; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets please.
