The Doc and Rosa Lee Watson MusicFest is held at the Historic Cove Creek School. The festival hosts local, regional, and nationally renowned musicians all on stage to honor Doc Watson, who got his start busking in Boone.
Don’t miss a visit to the Doc and Merle Watson Folk Art Museum which will be open during the festival. Food and local artisan craft tents will also be present on the festival grounds.
