The Doc & Rosa Lee Watson Music Festival is taking place on July 11th, 2025, featuring Scythian, The Kruger Brothers, and Charles Welch. The annual festival honors local legend, Doc Watson, from Deep Gap, NC, and his lasting legacy on the area.
After the festival's usual venue was damaged by Hurricane Helene in 2024, the show moved to a temporary location in 2025. Proceeds from the event will benefit future shows and the Doc & Rosa Lee Watson Folk Art Museum.
