Cooking over Fire & Flame

We will explore cooking directly over open flame in the beautiful outdoor kitchen at Turtle Island Preserve. utilizing antique wood stoves, an open hearth and a hand built Cobb oven. Through our intentional cooking - we will join together around a community table for our evening meal. This workshop is open to a small group of adults. Mature, interested teens are welcome when accompanied by a parent.

How can we connect to the elements while nourishing our bodies? This workshop is an invitation into a sacred space to engage in mindful cooking for a community over open flames. Together we will learn the ancient art of fire building, connecting to our earth through foraging and awakening our innate abilities to nurture one another with food.
