Presented by Friends of the Blue Ridge, High Country Chapter

Join an immersive nature walk featuring creative learning experiences with renowned artist Wes Waugh. The Art Walk offers a unique blend of nature exploration and creative instruction.

Nature Hike: A one-hour guided hike along the Boone Greenway and local nature trails. 
Participants will use drawing paper to capture prompted settings under the guidance of 
renowned artist and conservationist Wes Waugh. 
Art Class: The walk concludes at the Watauga Arts Council for a "shadow-me" 
watercolor class taught by Wes Waugh. 
Documentary Filming: Filmmaker and accomplished photographer Jesse Barber will be 
filming segments of the event for potential inclusion in a future documentary.
