An Evening with Laura Linney

This special evening will feature a screening of The Truman Show, starring Laura Linney, with a post-film discussion and Q&A with the actress.

Laura Linney is an award-winning American actress of film, television, and theater. She served as the honorary chair for the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country's "Lights, Camera...AUCTION!" fundraiser in September 2020. She is also slated to be the keynote speaker at the upcoming "Power of the Purse" event, a fundraiser for the Women's Fund of the Blue Ridge, on June 26th, 2025. Born to a prominent NYC playwright and nurse, Golden Globe, SAG, and Emmy award-winning actress. Linney began her experiential education in performance art at an early age. After graduating from The Juilliard School, she went on to appear in leading roles across film, television, and theatre.
