This event has been rescheduled from April 18, 2020.  The new family-friendly event will be smaller and will focus on sustainable lifestyle practices, focusing on agriculture and forest education.

Experience alternative ways of life first-hand. Enjoy classes and demonstrations: blacksmithing, meat-smoking, solar power, and historic building methods. Proceeds benefit scholarships to the organization's education programming.

Turtle Island Preserve is the passion project of founder Eustace Conway. You may have seen him in the popular History Channel show, "Mountain Men." Turtle Island Preserve is an environmental education center and 1000 acre wildlife preserve near Boone, North Carolina, where Eustace directs a unique visionary approach of getting people in touch with nature.
