Come and enjoy some of the best trout fishing in the Southeast this Spring, at the 46th annual Blowing Rock Trout Derby! Fishers are invited to show off their catch from Watauga County waters for this friendly annual competition.
Participants are required to come to the check-in located in front of Broyhill Lake. Parking is available by the Robbins Pool and a tent will be set up lakeside. At check-in, fishers will receive a tape measure that must be used to make a fish eligible.
Children's Art Kids under 16 are also invited to draw their best trout for a chance to be included on next year's poster and t-shirts!
