Guide to Game Day Parking

Autumn and Appalachian State University football go together like the Blue Ridge Parkway and scenic views. It's easy to come to Boone for a big game. The 2019 season schedule includes home games on August 31, September 7 and 28, October 19 and 31, and November 23.

There's no better autumn ritual, and it's a breeze to find good places to park and tailgate. And don't miss the downtown Boone strolling experience. Check out the diverse shopping and great dining that surround game day parking areas.

Guide to App State Game Day Parking in Boone

Consider these game day tips and parking options:

Heads Up:

Please be aware that the Town of Boone has an open container law that prohibits open alcoholic beverages on public property including streets and sidewalks in downtown Boone. Appalachian State University also has similar policies on campus property. However, many parking areas permit tailgating and some permit alcoholic beverages.

Parking Tips:

When you enter a parking lot, before you pay, make sure you ask if they allow tailgating. Some lots allow tailgating and some don't. If tailgating is allowed, make sure you ask if they allow grill and alcoholic beverages on the property. Again, some parking lots do and some don't.
