Appalachian State University's Turchin Center for the Visual Arts presents exhibitions, workshops, and visual arts activities throughout the year, as well as educational workshops for children and adults in its Arnold P. Rosen Educational Wing.

Current exhibitions include High Country Herbarium: Preserving Plants & Plant Communities in the Southern Appalachians (Feb. 2 - Aug. 4); Sustained Ingrain: Contemporary Woodcuts from East to West (Jun. 1 - Nov. 3); Our Living Past: Southern Scenes from Wet Plate Photography (Jun. 1 - Aug. 4).
