Loved by young and old, "Horn in the West" is a legacy outdoor drama performed in the heart of Boone, North Carolina, in one of the most beautiful outdoor theaters in the country. "Horn in the West" has offered families memorable summer evening entertainment in the High Country of NC since it opened in 1952.
Open from June 27th to August 12th in 2023. Shows are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm. Exciting family entertainment of the history of the area. All seats are reserved, and walk-ups are welcome.
Arrive early and take a self-guided tour of the on-site Hickory Ridge History Museum with 18th-century interpreters positioned throughout the museum's historic cabins.
