Step back in time at the on-site Hickory Ridge Living History Museum ($5/$3) during the pre-show hours, 5:30 - 8:00 (allow 45 minutes). Visit the neighboring Daniel Boone Native Gardens. Hike the T. K. Pease trail around the Strawberry Hill Arboretum.
Enjoy a buffet on the grounds above the amphitheatre, catered by Dan'l Boone Inn, featuring Southern fried chicken, country ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, biscuits, tea or coffee, and strawberry shortcake for dessert (at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday only).
